NO RIO, THE WOMEN´S MARCH

Resultado de imagem para FOTOS DE WOMEN´S MARCH

Good Morning American Ex-Pats and Other Interested Parties Living in Rio de Janeiro.

Get your sun block and hats ready to be with us at the Women's March on Washington -- Rio.

The Women's March on Washington will take place in Washington DC on January 21. The idea evolved just after our Presidential Election. Parallel events are to take place in many other American cities along with countries abroad.

We will show our solidarity in the eternal fight for human rights by staging our support all the way from Rio during the same time frame as the march unfolds in Washington.

The Mission Statement of the Women's March on Washington is below. It is important that we be informed. You may sign up to receive the march's newletter via its official site: www.womensmarch.com.

Please make up signs to carry and display that explain what we are standing for. The messages should be positive. This is not a protest. It is a huge moment of communication to make sure that the American administration which is to begin January 20 is held accountable to women's and all other human rights as stated below. We cannot lose what we have gained through generations and generations of intense activism.

Please share this with people you think would be interested in participating. Note that the Women's March on Washington is not limited to women, nor is our show of support limited to American ex-Pats.

We can do this!
Nancy

P.S. Please confirm your presence using this or my personal Facebook page. We need to have an idea of the number of supporters we'll have. Anyone interested in assisting in planning and logistics please contact me through this page,
